BOO who?!

This week has been filled with Halloween fun!!

Last night we went BOOing,

tonight we are carving pumpkins

and earlier in the week I took the little ones 

trick-or-treating at our local outdoor mall!

It was the cutest darn thing seeing all the kids in their costumes :}

I think Cadee had a great time, 

because she hasn't stopped asking to go "ticker teeting"!!

What is BOOing you ask...

Last year what the first time I had been 

BOOED!

I thought it was a great idea 

and couldn't wait to do my BOOing this year :}

I found these cute BOO sheets over at TomKat Studio!

Just print them out and add it to the goody bag,

but hurry you only have a couple of days left before Halloween!!

BOO who?!

BOOing {like EGGing} is a great way to celebrate Halloween 

with your neighbors, coworkers, family and friends!!

Hooter Hider

Isn't that a funny name?! 

But these things sell like crazy and for $30!!

{I bought one before I knew how to sew! ;}

I have been procrastinating wanting to make a 

nursing cover since I was pregnant with my second 

and talked about it on my very first post of this blog!

{well my baby is now 6 months old and other projects have had priority :}

BUT...

A friend asked me if I could make her one,

so now the pressure was on ;}

{just kidding, I was happy you finally got me to do it!}

I believe breast is best for baby and when my baby is hungry 

she doesn't care if we are in the middle of Time Square! 

So since not everyone is comfortable with 

Moms breastfeeding in public, these covers offer a 

"I have to feed my baby, 

but I am trying to be considerate of how others feel" option!

I found a great tutorial {there a ton out there} that I liked best 

and it helped me step-by-step.

This way I could go back and forth between my computer 

and sewing machine to make sure I had it just right!!

{that's the perfectionist in me ;}

I am actually very happy with the final product 

and excited to make more in different prints :}

It was easier and quicker than I thought it would be 

and I can't believe I waited so long to make one! 

I am planning on adding these to my Etsy shop

{as long as I get a good review from my guinea pig piece ;}

Fabulous Find: Ella's Kitchen ~ Organic Baby Food

We all know toddlers can be picky,

but my toddler will not even touch a veggie!

As an infant she ate all the pureed veggies so well, 

the moment she hit toddlerhood, 

she wanted nothing to do with them!

I suspect, 
I am not the only Mom trying to sneak a veggie or two 
any chance I get 

{most of the time very unsuccessful}
I have tried hiding them in her food, 
telling her they are candy, 
but I think when it comes down to it 
the taste and texture just doesn't work for her.
So the struggle continues... 


Or not,

I may have found the answer to our veggie problems...

Organic Baby Food

I gave her the 

Broccoli, Pears and Peas

{I know it doesn't sound very good, but it isn't bad, I tried it too}

and

she LOVED it!!! YAY!!

She even asked for more when she was done,

 that is a complete success in my book! :}}}

I think she likes the packaging too

because she can sit in her playroom 

and drink it with the little straw!

Needless to say, 

{I am so desperate to get her to eat veggies}

we will be having these on hand from now on!

I found them at Babies R Us on sale for $1 each.

If you have a picky little eater like me,

maybe give these a try, 

there are a bunch of flavors!!

Pumpkin Patch & Laundry Day

This weekend was super fun and relaxing!

We made a trip to the pumpkin patch,

where Cadee got to ride the train and carousel,

walk through the corn maze 

and pick out pumpkins!!

When it came to taking pictures,

she was a little camera shy ;)

I loved this shot the best because we were just having a good time

being silly...

Sunday we just relaxed after our busy Saturday

sooooo, that means today is 

laundry day!!!
